OurVue
Template — not legal advice. This document is a starting point for an MVP and must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer for your jurisdiction (the operator is UK-based) before you rely on it.

Terms of Service

Editable in Moderation → Site settings. Leave blank there to use the built-in template.

1. Who we are

OurVue is a community video platform (“videos for us, by us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a template for the MVP and must be reviewed by a lawyer before you rely on them for a real service.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep it verified. You're responsible for activity on your account. Don't share your password.

You must be old enough to consent to these Terms in your country (or have a parent/guardian's consent).

3. Your content

You keep the rights to content you upload or stream. By posting it on OurVue you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, transmit, display and make copies of it as needed to operate the service (including thumbnails, transcoding, moderation and music screening).

You promise you have the rights needed to post the content and that it follows our Community Guidelines and Copyright Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. We may remove content, suspend features or ban accounts that break the rules or the law.

5. Copyright and music

Our copyright complaint and music-matching processes are described in the Copyright Policy. Submitting a false notice or a false counter-notice can have legal consequences. Uploads may be held if our best-effort music screen finds a likely match.

6. Disclaimers (template)

OurVue is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude warranties and limit liability for losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

7. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms. For questions, contact the site operators.
